Classes teach classical ballet technique (primarily the Vaganova method) while incorporating interpretative movements.
Students are divided based on age and experience, to help students continue to progress.
The music used in class is mostly worship songs, with some classical music and contemporary Christian music. The music used in recitals is a mixture of soundtrack music and contemporary Christian songs.
Dances are learned and rehearsed to share in December for Christmas, and then for the end-of-the-year April recital. Ministry opportunities also occur during the year to share at churches, nursing homes, and/or community events.
All moves and attire are modest and glorifying to God!

Class Divisions
The King's Praise Ballet wants to be family-friendly, so as much as is possible, when sisters take dance they are placed in the same class (if close in age), or in classes that occur on the same day.
In all classes, students are encouraged to use their dancing to praise God!
Wee Ballet is the youngest class, for 4-6 year olds. Classes are divided in "1", "2", and "3" sections based on age and experience. In it they learn the fun and beauty of movement and the beginnings of ballet, while being gently taught to work together and listen well.
Basic Ballet is for 6-10 year olds. Classes are divided in "1," "2," and "3," sections based on age and experience. While continuing to enjoy the fun of movement, they learn the basics of ballet, and start exercises at the barre in addition to those in the center.
Games and fun props are used in the younger classes to encourage creativity and enhance memory.
As students ages 8 & up progress in ballet technique, they move up to Ballet I, II, III, IV, or V. More levels may be added as needed. These levels are based on ability, in order to challenge the students involved and keep them progressing and working towards excellence for the glory of God.
