"The Promise Fulfilled"
April 26-27, 2013
"The Promise Fulfilled" journeyed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah. Many perspectives gave insight to His amazing love and sacrifice on the cross, a reminder that death has no hold on our Savior or on us who follow him!
"Creation's Promise"
December 14-15, 2012
Through dance, "Creation's Promise" followed the story of creation, leading up to the birth of Christ. From Noah, to Joshua, from David, to Mary, dances pointed to the One promised since the foundation of the world.
"Unchanging"
May 11-12, 2012
All about our Savior and His unchanging character. Each dance extoled a different attribute of God, from His faithfulness to His goodness, to His unending grace, set to the music of Chris Tomlin, Laura Story, Steve Green, Sovereign Grace, and many others. 83 students ages 4 to 17 - and 17 dads! - praised God through dance!
"The Coming King"
December 16 & 17, 2011
Entirely through dance, the story of Christ's birth was told. From prophets predicting Christ's birth, to unforgetable angels, to hilarious shepherds (we're getting some men involved!) with their little "sheep", to a song looking forward to when the King will come again, this was a memorable presentation. 83 students worked hard to learn dances that glorified God and brought the Christmas story alive in a new way.
"Let the Nations be Glad!"
Friday, May 13th, 2011
An exciting presentation by The King's Praise Ballet! Our end-of-the-year recital had the theme of nations, with each class and/or dance representing a different country of the world. With unique choreography inspired by different nationalities, new props, and a vision to see Christ exalted around the world, this evening was memorable for all!
"The Manger Way"
December 17th-18th, 2010
Presented by The King's Theatre and The King's Praise Ballet, an original script was paired with old and new songs of the season to look at the way Christ came in a new light. It was written and directed by Anna Lofgren, with Rob and Natalie Pace and Rachael Morton assisting in writing and directing. Truly a collaborative effort that God brought together!
"A Sacrifice of Praise"
May 1st, 2010
End-of-the-year worship presentation by The King's Praise Ballet
"Beyond Bethlehem"
December 18th and 19th, 2009
A musical that went beyond the manger! Presented by The King's Theatre and The King's Praise Ballet. Written and directed by Anna Lofgren.
